dayの後の[where / when]について
“Section 28：名詞 + [where / when / why] / how (ISI)”のRecitation & Memorization Practiceでは以下の一文があります。
The days [when / that] I was losing myself in studying
一方、Long-form Speaking Practiceの例文に以下の一文があります。
Today was a day where I was able to refresh both my mind and body by experiencing nature and art.
単数の a dayの時はwhenではなく、whereを使うのでしょうか？それとも、通常はwhenだが、特定の意味でdayを使う時に限りwhereを使うのでしょうか？

こちらですが、基本ルールは時を表す説明される名詞にはwhenを使います。
ただ、特にアメリカ英語ではday whereと言う人も多いです。
なのでどちらとも正解です。
