比較級の否定について
彼は以前より厳しくなくなった（普通くらいになった）と言いたいです。
①He has become less strict than he used to be.
（この場合、大前提にstrict があるので、普通くらいではないから、違う）
②He has not become stricter than he used to be.
（同じくらいのstrictか優しいという意味になってしまうから、違う）
比較級では言えないのでしょうか？

②He has not become stricter than he used to be.
これらで通じます。
「普通になった」ということが伝わるかどうかは、あとは聞き手の理解次第です。
